The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum's new exhibition From Grassroots to Global Game is the basis for this interactive workshop and provides an introduction to the life of a 21st century tennis player.
Pupils will learn the differences between the 3 playing surfaces and how players earn points and rankings throughout the year as they work towards the various Grand Slam tournaments. Then they will have the opportunity to take on the role of a tennis player on tour competing against each other, during which time they will have to make decisions regarding their training, travel, finances, and what success looks like for them.
